We are a finalist! ‘The tastiest sausage roll in Brabant’

Bakkerij van Heeswijk is a finalist in the competition ‘the tastiest sausage roll of Brabant 2026’.

All entries were judged by an expert jury on taste balance, aroma, dough quality and artisanal perfection, among others.

Other bakers still in the fight for the honorary title include those from Hilvarenbeek, Cuijk and Heusden. All ten finalists will compete for the win in Breda in early April, and the winner will be announced at the NAC stadium on 23 April.

Last year, bakery Pim Filius from Dongen won the first prize. Bakery Verhagen from Bergeijk won the first two editions of the competition, in 1995 and 1996.
