Recipe: speculoos biscuits

Ingredients

  1. Choose your prettiest biscuit cutters or cut out shapes from paper that you want to make later on
  2. Preheat the oven. An electric oven at 170 degrees, a fan oven at 150 degrees
  3. Line a baking tray with baking paper
  4. Knead the speculaas dough again and roll out part of the dough, which is easier than the whole piece at once. Lay your paper mould on top and carefully cut out the shapes with a potato peeler or press them out with a mould.
  5. Place the speculoos on the baking tray and bake for about 15 minutes until cooked and crisp. Let the speculaas biscuits cool well on the baking tray. When the speculaas biscuits are cold, you can decorate them.
