SAVOURY SNACK MADE OF CHRISTMAS CAKE

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven on grill setting to 190 degrees Celsius.
  2. Place the 4 slices of icing on a baking tray and spread the icing over the slice.
  3. Spread a slice of goat cheese on top. Cut the red onion into thin rings or crescents.
  4. In a frying pan, fry the bacon until crispy brown and then fry the red onion in that fat.
  5. Put the slices under the grill for about 5 minutes, until they turn golden brown.
  6. Fill the hole where the spice was with arugula, sprinkle with the red onion and garnish with the bacon.
