Recipe: coffee French toast
Preparation
- Beat the eggs lightly with the cold espresso, cream, sugar, a little vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Pour this mixture into a wide bowl.
- Dip the casinobread slices in the egg mixture until well-filled. Mix the mascarpone with the Greek yoghurt and icing sugar to taste.
- Fry the French toast in a frying pan with butter until golden brown. If necessary, keep them warm in the oven.
- Serve with the mascarpone cream and, for example, fresh fruit or chocolate flakes - whatever mum likes best.
